It will never leave our minds in perfect peace.
Godly wisdom will endure, because godly wisdom is whole, pure truth. It’s like silver refined by fire over, and over, and over again. God’s Word (Jesus Christ) is the source and epitome of all wisdom. Outside of the things of God, gained knowledge will get us nowhere of any real value. It might entertain our minds for a moment, but will never fill our hearts, and we won’t take it past the grave. It won’t last and will eventually fade out like everything else in this world.
But, thankfully, His wisdom lasts forever and forever and will never die.
The living Creator of the Heavens and earth is a gracious, giving God. He promises that when an upright heart – one who is in right standing with Him and in a real relationship with Him – asks for wisdom in any situation, He *will* give it, and give it abundantly. So we can be at peace knowing we don’t have to have everything figured out in this world – we can rest in His warm protective arms and trust the One who promises to walk with us by the hand, every step of the way. He will guide us, give us understanding, lead us into all truth, and when we lean on Him, He will bless us with His direction and His wisdom in every and any circumstance.
He is a God of true wisdom and knowledge, the source of it all.
Our minds can rest in the truth that when we love Him, He will never let us go, always loving us and equipping us and filling us with His wisdom as we walk this earth, day after day. We don’t have to be alone and clueless. We can have HIM!
In Him, we live and move and have our being. In Him, we have the mind of Christ. And the mind of Christ is the essence and fullness of pure and holy wisdom.
{Proverbs 1:7}
The [reverent] fear of the LORD [that is, worshiping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome] is the beginning and the preeminent part of knowledge [its starting point and its essence]; But arrogant fools despise [skillful and godly] wisdom and instruction and self-discipline.
