The Secret to Happiness…

Take it all to Him, and don’t be shy to pour it all out into His hands. He’s our loving, protective Father. Don’t hold back your real, raw emotion. Don’t be shy to tell Him your worries, anxieties, needs, hurts, disappointments, wants, and fears. Don’t be scared to tell Him your circumstance and ask for help. He’s our Father, He cares, and He loves us. He loves us so much.

We can’t have true joy and peace inside unless we’re in constant communion with Jesus. Unless we have the close companionship with Him where we do not shy away from being honest and giving it all to Him. Our souls and hearts desperately need fellowship with the living God. When that happens, we experience a deep joy that surpasses all and every problem.🌻💛

In that deep place with Jesus there is power and freedom. Power to overcome every obstacle and freedom to be happy despite any hardship.

{John 14:27}
“I am leaving you with a gift–peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”

{Psalm 27:8}
“My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “LORD, I am coming.”

Chase God

Chasing hard after God is the greatest romance.✨💛✨

{Song of Songs 1:2-4}
“May He kiss me with the kisses of His mouth! For your love is better than wine. Your oils have a pleasing fragrance, Your name is like purified oil; Therefore the maidens love you. Draw me after You and let us run together! The King has brought me into his chambers. We will rejoice in You and be glad; We will extol Your love more than wine. Rightly do they love You.”

If you haven’t experienced the deep and magnificent love of God in your heart, then you haven’t truly experienced real love. Chase Him and seek Him with all of your heart, asking Him to pour His love into you by His Holy Spirit.

{Romans 5:5}
“And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because He has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love.”

Without His love, nothing even matters. W i t h His love, everything makes sense. With His love…

colours are brighter,
food tastes better,
your heart is full,
your spirit has life,
your joy is long-lasting,
your eyes are opened,
your mind understands,
and your very life has purpose.

His love is e v e r y t h i n g.✨💛✨

Getting Lost

I love getting lost in You. In Your Word. In Your presence. In Your love. I love hiding away with you in that secret place only meant for us. I love being with You. I love being Yours. I love crying to You, with all of my cares and burdens. I love telling You how much I love You. I didn’t know my heart could love this much, until you swept me off my feet like the King You are. I’m so in love with you and I’m so glad You’ll be mine forever. I’m going to hold on to you tightly for the rest of my life. So tight that nothing could possibly get between us. So tight that we’re one. I love You so much, I desire You more than life itself, and I want You more than all the treasures this world has to offer. You are so worthy! I adore you! Thank You for Your passionate love – the love that saved my life.♥️🔥

Take Everything to God

{Psalm 55:22}
Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.

{1 Peter 5:7}
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

God doesn’t want just some of our cares and burdens, He wants everything. The big things, the little things–He wants us to rely on Him more than our next breath. He wants us to cling to Him for direction and protection with all of our might. He wants to be the One we talk to first, the One we run to first, the One we cry to first. He desires to be our Father: loving, caring, and strong.

Run into the arms of Jesus with every little thing. Pour out your heart before Him constantly. Let Him take your cares and replace them with His peace. ✨

He Will Sustain You

HE is the One making your heart beat this very moment. HE is the One who is providing breath for your lungs with each breath you take. HE is the One who fills you with His Holy Spirit, a seal of redemption and resurrection. HE is the One that ensures you make it to the end. HE is the One that preserves you. HE holds you up, lifts you out of the miry clay, fills your heart with His love, gives you true freedom, forgives you, washes you white as snow, makes you into a new creation, and gives eternal life.

HE IS.

{Isaiah 46:3}
Even to your old age and gray hairs I am He, I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.

Rejoice in the Lord

There’s so much to rejoice in Him! He is not just a reason for joy, He is the s o u r c e of joy! And He’s a God who rejoices in His people too! Our God is not some dull, sullen distant God. He is closer than our heartbeat, and He is the source of all pleasure and goodness and joy.

He takes so much delight in His treasured people, and He wants us to delight in Him!💓🌸

I mean, read this passage below. What an incredible God.

{Zephaniah‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬}
Cheer up! For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty Savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.

Let’s break down what this passage is saying:

  • He desires us to be uplifted and feel joy.
  • He lives with us; He’s with us all the time.
  • He’s a warrior God and our Saviour, fighting our battles & rescuing us.
  • He actually takes DELIGHT in us! The one who made the stars and the sunsets receives delight from us.
  • He calms all of our fears.
  • He rejoices over us and sings over us!

Take delight in the Lord, and remember how much delight He takes in you.💓🌸

White as Snow

It is completely and absolutely unfathomable to picture a world in where this did not come from a Designer, an Intelligent Being beyond our humanity. It is absurd to visualize that this beautiful, complex, mathematically precise design did not come from the hand of God. How can something like this come from a chaotic explosion with no causality and no purpose? It is so overwhelmingly obvious that this is designed.

It’s utterly glorious! Only Beauty Himself could make beauty like this!

And this is the reason I will spend my entire life evangelizing the name of my God, and bringing hearts closer to Him. Because I’d bet my entire life on the existence of God. And yes, the God of the bible, because there is only one truth, one way, one life. All other false gods are easily self-refuted when you look deep into and study these other religions.

Except One.

Jesus. The First and the Last. Beginning and the End. Alpha and Omega. In Him all things were created. From whom all things were made. And if you study the God of the bible, He is the only One who could create this kind of breathtaking beauty.

It matches His attributes, His character, His love. His glory, His perfection, His wisdom.

I will spend the rest of my life proclaiming the name of Jesus Christ to whoever will listen to me. Because something as tiny as a single snowflake speaks volumes.

It shows of a Creator outside of our existence, outside of our intelligence.

And if there IS a God, then there is accountability. With accountability comes the inevitable fact that you will indeed stand before God once your life on earth is over. And if you’re going to stand before God, it would be very wise on your end if you spend your life searching for Him, find exactly what He wants, and do it.

What does He want?

He wants you to feel the weight of your sin in comparison to His holy perfection. He wants your heart genuinely seeking Him out. He wants you to confess that you’ve sinned against Him and you fall short of His glory. That you can’t do it on your own and you cannot save yourself. He wants you to ask Him for forgiveness. He wants you to recognize who He is and that He sacrificed His perfect self on the cross for your wretched imperfection. And only He can save you. He wants your heartcry.

In this, He gives so much more. He forgives us, past present and future. He justifies us and leaves us guiltless. He regenerates us and transforms us into a completely new creature with a new nature, just like that. He fills us with His Holy Spirit. He sanctifies us. He looks at us as holy and righteous and loves us with more love than we can ever dream. He becomes closer and more intimate to us than our next breath. And it’s glorious.

He gives us Himself in heaven – a gift so great that I get emotional thinking about it. It’s too much for my heart to contain. We will stand before Him spotless and white – as white as snow!

We’ll be like this snowflake: pure, beautiful, radiant.

He will bring us into paradise, a place where He Himself dwells. A place too magnificent to comprehend.

He gives us everything. He gave us Himself.

The greatest advice I could ever give any soul on earth is this: please make sure when you die and stand before Him, you won’t try to run and hide in terror, but that you can face Him in love and see His arms outstretched ready for your embrace.

What do you want?

Do you want the love of God or the anger of God? There is no in between, no neutral, no lukewarm. You have one life to live on this earth, and trust me, it matters what you believe.

{Matthew 10:28}
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

{Revelation 6}
Then everyone—the kings of the earth, the rulers, the generals, the wealthy, the powerful, and every slave and free person—all hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains. And they cried to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb. For the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to survive?”

{Isaiah 1}
“Come now, let’s settle this,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool. I will remove all your impurities.

I will lock eyes with the One who’s ransomed me, the One who gave me joy for mourning. I will lock eyes with the One who’s chosen me, the One who set my feet to dancing.✨

I am God’s Artwork

When I was a child, I always wondered about the human body and the way it’s made. In my eyes, even as a little one, I acknowledged that our human bodies are perfect in form and structure. I would contemplate and analyze different alternatives: eyes near the chin and mouth on the forehead? Feet at the end of our arms instead of hands? A mouth on our neck? Ears on our cheeks? Legs flailing around at the side of our hips? I would sit there and examine this as an 8 year old child. It happened often. It was my mind wondering if this human body of ours really is random evolution from a chaotic boom, or was this designed? Is this body of ours, in all of its complexities, the way it is on purpose? With creativity? Intelligence? Wisdom? Care? Are our bodies perfect just the way they are made?

Everytime I would meditate and ponder this in my mind, the answer was always, always, always a resounding and overwhelming YES. Overwhelmingly. No other way works. No other form works, nor structure. Our bodies are designed in perfect function, way, form and beauty just the way God made it.

As you look into the science of how every single little part of our bodies function, such as toes or eyelashes or little parts holding us together on the inside, it’s evident that we were created by a Maker and we’re made so well and beautifully!

We were made in His image, and He created us with pleasure, purpose, creativity, supreme intelligence, and love. We are made with great reverence, heartfelt interest, and respect. We are wonderfully made. And oh, it is good. Just like He says it is.

We are living art created by the hand of the living God. 💕

{Psalm 139:14}
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

{Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭26,27,31‬}
Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good!”
