You Are Beautiful

Psalms 147:4-5 “He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names. Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.”

Think of a bright starry night. Have you ever looked up at night and see trillions of stars, a number so beyond our comprehension – way too many to count? It says in scripture that God has a name for each and every star! Not only did He create each one, unique in glory and brilliance, but He also has a special name for each star. That’s so unbelievably amazing!

This God who made all of these stars and named them personally also made you! And because you’re made in His image, a star can’t compare to the beauty God has bestowed on you as a human being. You are at the top of His creation.

If magnificent stars are beautiful, and you are beautiful, and all the rest of creation is beautiful…how beautiful is Jesus Christ, the glorious One who created all of these things? He is so much more beautiful than all the beautiful things combined.

And He is so deserving in our trust in Him.

Why Should We Trust in Jesus?

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6

There’s only one thing that we as humans can trust in with all of our entire heart. That one thing we can trust in is Jesus Christ! Because He’s perfect in every way and therefore loves us perfectly, we can rest in the fact that because of His perfection and love, He will always act towards us in that love. That means He’ll never hurt us, leave us, lie to us, abuse us, cause us pain. It also means that He will save us when we put our faith in Him, along with protect us, cherish us, and do things according to our very best interest.

The second part of the verse, “lean not on your own understanding”, means that we as humans don’t see all the things that God sees nor do we understand all things. And because God knows all things and sees all things, as well as love us perfectly, we CAN trust Him with everything in us.

It doesn’t mean we understand all things, but we can trust that He does, and that because He’s God, He’s in control of all things. Trust requires faith because it relies on the One that we put our trust in. And when it is God that we put our trust in, we know that we are safe.

This world can be so uncertain and chaotic. But the one thing that will always remain, is God.

Will You Open The Door?

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” Revelation‬ ‭3:20‬

Jesus is alive, real, and draws people to Himself (knocking). We must put our faith in Him to receive forgiveness of our sins and be cleansed of them. This results in eternal life! It is such an amazingly simple thing, probably the most simple thing in all of existence: to trust in the God who literally created your soul. Yet, it can be so hard to get to that place of full surrender and faith. Why?

Because humans tend to trust in what they can see, and disregard what they cannot see. Our tendency is to trust in the tangible and reject the unseen and spiritual. Because of our sinful nature, we suppress the existence of God in our hearts because we can’t see Him, and put all our trust in humanistic ideologies, theories, ideas.

We all do this, every single human being. Until we come to a place where we acknowledge that God is real, He is who He says He is, and we do what He requires.

Thankfully, God is so incredibly amazing that He requires very little from us, because He Himself did all the work. He came down from Heaven, lived the perfect life we couldn’t live by following the law perfectly, and died for us a tortuous and painful death. The death that we deserve. All He requires from us? Our trust. Our faith in Him.

It takes one moment, one act of faith that sets your soul on a secured path to heaven. He is drawing you, and you must respond. This decision of whether or not a person opens the door to Jesus Christ will be the because decision in our life, and it has eternal consequences.

God is so beautiful, even though people deny Him and are children of wrath (before a person is born-again they are a child of God’s wrath) even though people deny Him and reject Him, He is still ready and willing to have a relationship with those who turn to Him! All it takes is faith in Him.

It’s as easy as letting go, humbling yourself and surrendering to the Almighty God. And when this happens, you’ll have a close, intimate, unending relationship with Jesus Himself! He’s waiting and knocking at your door, He wants you to open to Him, repent and trust in Him.

Once that door is open, it can never be shut and the Lord will keep you close to Him forever. You’ll be covered by the blood of Christ and born-again, your soul protected before you die and you’ll be taken to heaven after you die. There’s nothing greater on this earth than that. Open your door to Him (faith) and you’ll experience salvation for your soul and the true love of Christ. ♥️

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves. Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.” Romans 1:16-25♥️

Covid Should Bring You To Hope in Christ

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Romans 5:5-6 ❤

As we daily face the grim reality of this current pandemic situation, many people all over the world feel hopeless. It’s completely understandable, but there’s amazing news! The good news is that there is a beautiful, glorious, mighty and powerful God out there that we can put our hope in. In a shaky world, God can be our constant rock. The one thing we can rely on while everything else crumbles before us. He can be the one thing that holds us firm while this entire world moves in chaos. We do not have to feel hopeless. We can and should put our hope in God, for this is the whole purpose of your existence.

And how do we know that we can hope in God? Because Jesus died for us people who have sinned. If He has done this extravagant act of love for us, then we can be rest assured that hoping in Him will lead to security, love, and eternal life.

Hope in Christ in every season, through every fear, and during every hardship. He is the only way to true freedom.

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

2 Corinthians 3:17 ❤

Get Close to God

Never let any single thing, human or otherwise, be closer to you than your Maker is. Your union with Jesus must be a union untouched by outside hands – it must be so deep and strong and high and wide and all-consuming and first and foremost above all other relationships, that nothing on the outside can penetrate it. Jesus is your Saviour, your God, and your first love. Your relationship with Him will set the foundation of your entire life and all of your relationships – none of which should ever be more important or close to you than Jesus Himself. Get close to God, deepen your bond with Him. Love Him more than anything this world has to offer. Be satisfied in Him above all else. Be willing to serve Him unto death if He so desires. Jesus is a jealous God and wants all of you.

Make Him your everything, because He is your Maker.♥️

{Revelation 2:4}
[Jesus said], “But I have this against you, that you have left your first love.”

{Hebrews 12:29}
“For our God is a consuming fire.”

{Exodus 34:14}
“You must worship no other gods, for the LORD, whose very name is Jealous, is a God who is jealous about his relationship with you.”😍

Faith

God wants your faith. Your faith delights Him and pleases Him so much! He wants you to have faith in Him not only during easy times, but dark times as well. He wants to prove that the hope you have in Him will never be put to shame. Your hope and faith will never disappoint and He loves displaying His faithfulness.

Have faith in God even though you cannot see Him. Have faith in God even though this pagan world will constantly tell you that God isn’t real and the Bible isn’t true. Put on your armour, the shield of faith, knowing that the devil is the father of lies and he doesn’t want you to have faith in the God who created you and who can give you salvation and eternal life. That serpent will try to throw fiery darts at you, but if you’re protected by the shield of faith, nothing can touch you.

Spend your life in faith that God will fulfill His promises – for He cannot lie. If you truly place your faith in Him, you will be given eternal life.🙏🏻

{Romans 10:11}
Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.

{Hebrews 6:18}
So that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us.

‭‭{Ephesians‬ ‭6:10-18‬}
Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion.

You Aren’t a Mistake

Treasured daughter of the Most High God, you are not a mistake. You aren’t a product of natural selection. You didn’t come from apes. You weren’t born by accident, no matter what environment you were born into and who your parents are.

You have a Father, the ultimate Parent, who made you. He wanted you here to exist on earth. He created your eyes, your skin colour, your nose, your hair texture, your body, your feet, your heart, and your lungs. He was there, while you were the size of a pea in your mother’s womb. You came from His heart. He created you from dust, and here you are, breathing and living.

You are not a mistake, you were created with intention. With purpose. With love. And not just that, you were created by the most beautiful, loving, glorious God!✨

Never think you’re an accident and you don’t have purpose. God has a wonderful plan for your life and wants to use you for His eternal kingdom. Keep your heart and eyes fixated on Jesus, and He will guide your life until your very last day here on earth. Don’t take your life for granted. It is special in the eyes of God.

It’s only a matter of time before you’ll be with Him forever in the place He’s prepared for those who love Him.

‭‭{Psalms‬ ‭139:13-18‬}
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!
