Jesus is Unchanging

Let your heart rest in the truth that even in the midst of a changing world, we have an unchanging God. He is the solid rock we can put our hope in. When He says He will do it, He will most certainly do it. His love is sure and His grace is real. He doesn’t change His mind or reverse His plans. You can open your heart before Him and cling to Him with everything in you, knowing that He is a safe place. The only safe place.

When He says He’s forgiven you, He’s forgiven you. When He say He loves you, oh, He loves you. And that will never change. Because He never changes.

He is the only unchanging thing in this changing world.♥️

Worship Jesus Christ!

How does this beautiful God give us so much?! How does He even allow us to be intimate with Him and close to Him?! How does He let us know Him, experience His mercy, His tenderness, His lovingkindness, His salvation?! How does He even allow us the gift of loving Him?! The only reason we’re even able to love Him is because while we were  s t i l l  sinners, the Son of the living God died for us. He is so precious and incredible!

He deserves so much more than we are capable of giving Him, yet He accepts and delights in the worship of those who have been bought by His blood. Nothing could ever compare!

If you have been saved by Him, never take for granted that you are privileged and favoured to be allowed to enter into His throne room, experience His presence, and even call on His name. It’s a privilege beyond reason to be able to fall to our knees before Him and pour out our hearts to Him, crying “Abba! My Father!”

Never allow His goodness and grace that we undeservedly receive from Him become commonplace in your heart. You have everything in Him.

His love the greatest gift, and He has given it to those who place their hope and trust in Him.💞

‭‭{Ephesians‬ ‭1:3-14‬}
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace which He lavished on us. In all wisdom and insight He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will, to the end that we who were the first to hope in Christ would be to the praise of His glory. In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation-having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.”

Walking Closely With Jesus

FullSizeRender-2 copy.jpg

When we are weak, weary, and feel like giving up, we can be rest assured, that for the people that He has redeemed, He will stand with us and strengthen us.

He will walk with us.  E v e r y  step of the way. Through every season, every challenge, every new day.

Walking closely with Jesus can be hard. We at times face opposition in both the tangible, physical world, and the invisible, spiritual world. But even during the hardest of seasons – those seasons where we are in so much despair and are tempted to give up…

We can’t give up. We  s i m p l y  can’t.

Because He who is much stronger than us is holding us tightly to Himself. He is the One who strengthens us.

Because even during tumultuous seasons, we have Life within ourselves. We are spiritually alive, even during times of despair. We might stumble around for a season like a baby trying to walk, but we will…

A l w a y s

A l w a y s

A l w a y s  come back.

I remember a time I was worn out and weary because of the spiritual warfare I was experiencing. I felt weak and I needed His strength. I had recently done something radical for Him in my life and the spiritual opposition I faced was almost unbearable at the time.

I felt disconnected from Him during this time of testing. He felt so distant. I felt lost during this season and the winds that blew on me were rigid and harsh.

In my moment of weakness and need of attention from Him, I thought, “what’s the point? I’ll just do things I used to enjoy before I was saved. I’ll just go out and get drinks with friends like I used to.”

No, I had not an ounce of desire for that.

So that didn’t work. My next thought came, “I’ll just spend all my time watching movies and binging on tv shows to ease the pain.”

Nope, I had absolutely no desire for it. I couldn’t even force myself to sit down and watch tv. They don’t call it ‘programming’ by accident.

So that didn’t work. I then said, ‘okay, I’ll go listen to all that secular music I used to listen to’ (instead of worship music).

No – I turned on the radio and heard some song playing for about 15 seconds, I cringed, then immediately turned it off. Just hearing sexual or worthless lyrics grieved my heart.

So that didn’t work. Next thought, ‘I’ll go on a date with that guy who I know doesn’t love You or believe in You, since I’m not getting attention from You…”
N e v e r. N e v e r. Never in a million years would I even consider a man who is not passionately in love with Jesus.

So that definitely didn’t work. I was so desperate for God’s closeness and to be relieved of the testing I was going through that I was willing to say anything to stir Him.

But He knows me. He knew my heart and that I sincerely didn’t mean  a n y  of it.

That’s because…

He  r e m o v e d  those worldly desires.
I couldn’t bring myself to do those things which I know grieves His Spirit. I love Him so much that I just can’t. The desire for any kind of carnality has been removed from me and He’s still removing it as I walk deeply with my God.

In the very next moment after saying these foolish things, I turned and ran to Him, heart overcome with longing for Him. I cried to Him, read scripture, listened to a biblical teaching, and praised Him, telling Him how much I love and need and adore Him. It’s all I could do. It’s all I  w a n t e d  to do.
Why?

Because I have eternal  L I F E  within myself. When you have eternal life inside of you, you crave deeply the eternal things of God. Because, no matter how hard it gets…

HE is all I want.

No matter what season I happen to be in –  highs and lows, victories and failures. Even when I’m weak and stumbling and falling like a child. Child I may be, but I’m His child nonetheless.

God lives in me, and my desire for the things that have nothing to do with Jesus do not interest me anymore. Even at my darkest hour, I can’t get far away from my King, the One whom my soul loves. Nor do I ever want to.

With my nature changed by His Spirit, I now have a natural inclination and desire for the things of God. And a natural distaste for the things that do not please God or hold no eternal value.
Eternal life craves the things of eternal life. The spiritually dead crave the things that are spiritually dead.
This is a good way to examine yourself. What does your heart crave m o s t?

{Song of Solomon 3:1-4}
On my bed night after night,
I sought the One whom my soul loves;
I sought Him but did but did not find Him.
I said, ‘so I must arise now and go out into the city;
Into the streets and into the squares.
I must seek Him whom my soul loves.
I sought Him but I did not find Him.
The watchmen who go around the city found me,
And I said, ‘have you seen Him whom my soul loves?’
Scarcely had I passed them,
When I found Him whom my soul loves.
I held on to Him and would not let Him go.

Run to Him.

Imagine, you, gripped and overcome with the reality of your sin. It weighs down on you heavier than you can even bear, and you desperately need for it to be lifted from you.

You need to be made new.

Imagine, seeing Him from a distance. The Son of God. He looks human on the outside, but indeed,

He is so much more.

Imagine, your heart compelled. It’s pulling to Him. Like a magnet, your heart gets drawn to the One and only who could heal, who could satisfy.

Your heart recognizes who this Man is.

Imagine, running to Him. Unable to ignore the deep pull of your heart, your feet start moving until you are running with towards Him all of your might.

You desperately need Him, what He has, and what He offers.

Imagine, while running towards Him, your heart is beating so fast. Tears start streaming down your face. This is the long awaited Messiah that will,

Free you from your misery.

Imagine, you reach Him. Face full of tears, you are too overcome with emotion to speak.

You fall to your knees and worship the King.

Imagine, your tears fall gently unto His feet. You look up at Him through wet, tear-puddled eyes and messy hair, and all you see is love. Powerful, passionate, forgiving love.

F o r g i v e n e s s.

Tenderness. Gentleness. Sweetness. Kindness. Mercy. Grace. All on His face.

The fragrance of His beauty and grace pours out to you in a sweet, cleansing blanket of warmth. And,

Your burdens are lifted. His love overcomes you.

The love of God Himself has won you.

What a wonderful God He is.♥️

{Luke 7:37-49}
There was a woman who was a notorious sinner in that city. When she learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee’s home, she took an alabaster jar of perfume. and knelt at his feet behind him. She was crying and began to wash his feet with her tears and dry them with her hair. Then she kissed his feet over and over again, anointing them constantly with the perfume. Now the Pharisee who had invited Jesus saw this and told himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would have known who is touching him and what kind of woman she is. She’s a sinner!” Jesus told him, “Simon, I have something to ask you.” “Teacher,” he replied, “ask it.”
“Two men were in debt to a moneylender. One owed him 500 denarii, and the other 50. When they couldn’t pay it back, he generously canceled the debts for both of them. Now which of them will love him more?” Simon answered, “I suppose the one who had the larger debt canceled.” Jesus told him, “You have answered correctly.” Then, turning to the woman, he told Simon, “Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You didn’t give me any water for my feet, but this woman has washed my feet with her tears and dried them with her hair. You didn’t give me a kiss, but this woman, from the moment I came in, has not stopped kissing my feet. You didn’t anoint my head with oil, but this woman has anointed my feet with perfume. So I’m telling you that her sins, as many as they are, have been forgiven, and that’s why she has shown such great love. But the one to whom little is forgiven loves little.” Then Jesus told her, “Your sins are forgiven!”

Rejoice!

FullSizeRender-2.jpg

When you’re in the midst of the storm, rejoicing is the most difficult to do. It’s easy to enjoy this Bible passage when everything is going alright in life–but when you’re in battle, whether it be mental, physical, circumstantial, or spiritual warfare, this is when you’re faith is tested the most. This is when the thing you truly believe, deep down in your heart of hearts, will be manifested. Who or what do you turn to (or away from) during these raging storms?

When you have nothing left, trust in Him. He wants you to trust in Him. He desires your trust. He delights in it.

During a season in my walk with Jesus when I was being tested, everything in my life – all security, hope, assurance – became dislodged. I was in the middle of a very dark and treacherous storm and everything around me was scattered about.

I was weary, I was broken-hearted. Nothing was steady, immovable, trustworthy, secure.

Except One.

And in the midst of my broken heart and confusion, I heard His sweet calm whisper.

“Now trust in Me.”

And immediately the passage in proverbs came rushing to my heart like a waterfall:

Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
and lean not on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him
and He will direct your steps.
{Proverbs 3:5}

And I knew. Deep down in my soul I knew that God wanted me to just cling to Him through the storm going on in my heart and  t r u s t  H i m  through it. Even though trust in all else was ripped from me, He was my steady Rock. He is trustworthy.

I often think about the story of Job in scripture when I’m being tested. I wonder if the devil is mocking God, saying, “she doesn’t really love you. Take ____ from her and she will turn from you!” It breaks my heart, the thought that anyone would ever turn from His love. That picture in my mind drives me to withstand the fires, so that my gold (faith) will be beautifully purified. I never want to fail a faith test. I want to win the race and walk closely with my God all the days of my life, no matter what h a p p e n s or doesn’t happen, one thing is for sure: my God loves me and I’ll always have Him. I want all to know, including the devil, that my love for God is real.

I desire all to know, including the devil, that my love for God is real, genuine, pure.

W i t h s t a n d i n g.

Better yet, I can fall into rest knowing that it isn’t me maintaining my faith, but Him! He’s the Author and Perfecter of my faith and I need not worry about ever falling away from Him because I am clutched in His hand and He will never let me go.

Not I, but Christ in me.

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in praise.

He works everything out for the good of those who love Him. rest in that truth in every storm you face. You will be given a peace that surpasses all understanding.

{Job 1:6-12}
One day the members of the heavenly court came to present themselves before the LORD, and the Accuser, Satan, came with them. “Where have you come from?” the LORD asked Satan. Satan answered the LORD, “I have been patrolling the earth, watching everything that’s going on.” Then the LORD asked Satan, “Have you noticed my servant Job? He is the finest man in all the earth. He is blameless—a man of complete integrity. He fears God and stays away from evil.” Satan replied to the LORD, “Yes, but Job has good reason to fear God. You have always put a wall of protection around him and his home and his property. You have made him prosper in everything he does. Look how rich he is! But reach out and take away everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face!” “All right, you may test him,” the LORD said to Satan. “Do whatever you want with everything he possesses, but don’t harm him physically.” So Satan left the LORD’s presence.

{Galatians 2:20}
My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

{Romans 8:28}
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

{1 Corinthians 9:24-27}
Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified.

{Philippians 4:6-7}
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

{2 Timothy 2:18}
They have left the path of truth, claiming that the resurrection of the dead has already occurred; in this way, they have turned some people away from the faith.

{2 Timothy 2:7-8}
Think about what I am saying. The Lord will help you understand all these things. Always remember that Jesus Christ, a descendant of King David, was raised from the dead. This is the Good News I preach.

{1 Peter 1}
I am writing to God’s chosen people who are living as foreigners in the provinces of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia. God the Father knew you and chose you long ago, and his Spirit has made you holy. As a result, you have obeyed him and have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ. May God give you more and more grace and peace. All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, and we have a priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see. So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you have to endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. The reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls. This salvation was something even the prophets wanted to know more about when they prophesied about this gracious salvation prepared for you. They wondered what time or situation the Spirit of Christ within them was talking about when he told them in advance about Christ’s suffering and his great glory afterward. They were told that their messages were not for themselves, but for you. And now this Good News has been announced to you by those who preached in the power of the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. It is all so wonderful that even the angels are eagerly watching these things happen. So think clearly and exercise self-control. Look forward to the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world. So you must live as God’s obedient children. Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn’t know any better then. But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy. For the Scriptures say, “You must be holy because I am holy.” And remember that the heavenly Father to whom you pray has no favorites. He will judge or reward you according to what you do. So you must live in reverent fear of him during your time as “foreigners in the land.” For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And the ransom he paid was not mere gold or silver. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. God chose him as your ransom long before the world began, but he has now revealed him to you in these last days. Through Christ you have come to trust in God. And you have placed your faith and hope in God because he raised Christ from the dead and gave him great glory. You were cleansed from your sins when you obeyed the truth, so now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters. Love each other deeply with all your heart. For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God. As the Scriptures say,

“People are like grass;
their beauty is like a flower in the field.
The grass withers and the flower fades.
But the word of the Lord remains forever.”
And that word is the Good News that was preached to you.

{Hebrews 12:12}
So take a new grip with your tired hands and strengthen your weak knees.

{John 10:27-28}
My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me.

Jesus is my King

17201429_1057036874403101_2506938780699484542_n.jpg

No matter what goes on in my life, Jesus Christ is my King.
No matter what storm, what trial, what tribulation, distress, pressure, heartbreak, or failure I face, He’s my King.
No matter what fears I have inside of me, He’s my King.
Whether I’m victorious in life or I can’t walk any longer, Jesus is my King.
Confusion may overwhelm me at times, but one thing is for certain – the Rock is my King.
I may get discouraged, but Jesus is my King.
I may not understand, but Jesus will always be my King.
No matter what adversity wants to get ahold of me, my Jesus is my King.
No matter what type of darkness that tries to subdue me, Jesus is my beloved King.
Whatever I go through in life, I’m carried under the everlasting arms of King Jesus.
No matter who rules the world or what kind of power they have, Jesus is the King of Kings!
No matter which president they elect, Jesus is Lord of Lords.
Jesus is the King over rulers, nations, authority.
Jesus is King over the entire earth.
Of my entire life, my soul, my spirit, my mind, my being, He is my sweet King and I want no one else.
Of my heart, Jesus is King, forever and ever and all eternity.
JESUS IS MY KING!

{Deuteronomy 33:26-27}
There is none like the God of Israel,
Who rides the heavens to your help,
And through the skies in His majestic glory.
The eternal God is your refuge as dwelling place,
And underneath are the everlasting arms;
He drove out the enemy before you,
And said, ‘Destroy!’
So Israel dwells in safety and security.

His Love!

17156238_1052494138190708_1629458721296209111_n.jpg

His love, oh His love. I could sing about His love all day and all night.

His love makes me exhale into a warm puddle and it makes my heart want to burst all at the same time.

His love is so perfect that it has the power to calm our fears, give us perfect peace in every situation, make our chest flutter with joy, heal us and make us whole. His love is that powerful.

His love is powerful enough to save us from hell and gentle enough to whisper sweet words of comfort in our ear.

His love is rich enough to satisfy the human soul altogether, with all our cravings and longings.

His love is the ultimate treasure to those He loved before the foundation of the Earth. We were loved by Him and existed in His mind before we were e v e r conceived. Before our parents and grandparents and ancestors were conceived. And when a human heart falls deeply into His love, His heart becomes the ultimate of treasures.

His love is powerful enough to remove our sin and the consequences of it if we come to Him. His love is powerful enough to save us from Himself and His wrath.

His love calms our fears. His love makes us alive. His love frees us. His love lifts us up. His love carries us through this life and into Heaven.

His love is so intense that He was compelled to come to this earth from the throne of majesty and endure torture, beatings, ripped flesh, and blood poured out. For us.

There is no greater love than the love of God.

If you haven’t yet, will you accept His love? If you already have His love, never cease to treasure it more than your own life because it is more worthy than your own life.

Love the LORD your God with all your heart, your soul, your mind, and your strength.

This is the purpose of our existence. Nothing else will ever matter. This is the reason you have breath.

I Become less, He Becomes More

16997692_1051778531595602_3651530853795798438_n

When we are in Jesus, His strength is perfected in our weakness.

We become less. He becomes more.

I remember weeks following the special moment that I gave my life to Jesus Christ, there was this strange new feeling within me.

I was dying to self.

I was becoming less, and He was becoming more. It was very new and unfamiliar to me, because I had spent all of my entire life trying to be m o r e of me. In perfect unity, He was spiritually circumsicing me and giving me a new heart. From a hard heart to a tender heart.

In this, the sinful calloused, fleshly nature in me was being removed by the hand of God. In His refining fire, He was burning away the person previously known as Tanya for the past 29 years.

At first, this new feeling was u n c o m f o r t a b l e.

Because I wasn’t acquainted with being less of me so God could be more in me. I was used to always trying to be m o r e of me. But more of me without God is an ugly thing. Jesus completely reversed this within my new heart:

Selfishness to selflessness, vanity to humbleness, greed to giving, hate to love.

I knew what was happening was good, and I desired it. But in my new baby believer’s mind, dying to self was also just a little bit painful. I could f e e l it. I was a w a r e of it. It was an awareness through my entire being – mind, heart, and soul, that He allowed me to experience. My spiritual outer layer was full of dirt, defilement, and darkness, and it was being removed to reveal my t r u e identity as a daughter of the King.

When I came to Christ, I was transformed into a new creature. I went from dead to alive. Mortal to immortal in Jesus. The old had passed, and the new had come.

With the Holy Spirit freshly in me, I had to learn that more of me is bad, and less of me is so so so good. Because less of me means more of Him. And more of Him means more of His strength and power made perfect in my weaknesses.

It means my weaknesses can be used for His purposes and made into strength by His power.

Though ecstatically full of joy in the Lord, this discomfort I felt at the beginning of my relationship with God was my fleshly carnal nature being cut off of me.

But I’m so glad it did. And I’m so thankful that I’m s t i l l being refined. That I’m
s t i l l dying to self. And that I’ll a l w a y s be sanctified. Because He has become m o r e in me. And more of God is a very wonderful thing.

{Deuteronomy 30:6}
And the LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants [that is, He will remove the desire to sin from your heart] so that you will love the LORD your God with all your heart and all your soul, so that you may live.”

‭‭{Colossians‬ ‭2:11-14‬}
When you came to Christ, you were “circumcised,” but not by a physical procedure. Christ performed a spiritual circumcision—the cutting away of your sinful nature. For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead. You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.

{2 Corinthians 12:9}
Jesus said, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough – always available – regardless of the situation]; for My power is perfect in your weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may completely enfold me and may dwell in me.”

{Ezekiel 36:26-27}
And I (God) will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.

{Romans 6:11}
Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

{Luke 9:23}
And He (Jesus) was saying to them all, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me.

{Galatians 2:20}
I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

{Ephesians 4:22-24}
In reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

{Isaiah 64:8}
Yet, oh LORD, You are our Father;
We are the clay, and You our potter,
And we are all the work of your hand.

Jesus is Salvation

16265357_1015235695249886_9073575929269473134_n.jpg

Worship the Lord of glory! Praise His beautiful, Holy name. Jesus is our God. The One God. The only God. There will be NO other, never has been another, and never will be another God.

He’s my Creator, and He’s your Creator. He gave us breath, and the most significant thing we can do is give our breath back to Him by praising Him and honouring Him. Loving Him and obeying Him. Seeking Him and laying down our lives for Him. He’s so perfect and majestic and mighty and wonderful.

Look at this beautiful things He has made by His hand and respond in adoration. He is the o n l y God, the only way to salvation, and He is breathtakingly glorious.

Jesus Christ is the seen image of the invisible God who offers the only way out of this meaningless existence on earth. He’s the only freedom we have. When you turn to Him, your life can have meaning and you can be set free! Without Him, you will be imprisoned and your life will have no meaning because you are separated from the very One who made your heart beat and gave your lungs air.

He’s the One your soul craves, yet you do not realize this. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you. Tell Him you want His love. You will experience meaning and purpose and you will begin living a supernatural life with the presence of the Most High God living inside of you and surrounding you. Don’t you want the favour and mercy of God poured on your life?

Jesus Christ isn’t just my God because I love Him. He’s your God too, even if you hate Him. He’s the atheist’s God, the Muslim’s God, the drug addict’s God, the alcoholic’s God, and even the satanist’s God – even though these people worship evil things and deny the very One who created them. There isn’t a million ways to Heaven, there is only o n e way.

One way.

Just because someone doesn’t believe in Him does not mean that person will not have to face Him when they die on earth. And when you see Him, if you have rejected the truth all of your life, you will cry in utter terror at what you chose instead of Him. You’ll see the King in His majestic perfect splendour and you’ll scream in shame and horror because you’ll want Him but it will be too late. You have time today to choose Him. Tomorrow you may die.

Please choose the beautiful God who spoke you into existence. Speaking from experience, He is so worth it. Now that I have Him, there isn’t a single thing I’d give Him up for. All I want to do is express my love to Him all my days until my last breath.

I belong to King Jesus, and I will never get over Him.

“And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among people by which we must be saved, for God has provided no alternative for salvation.”
{Acts 4:12}

Have You Ever Tried Chocolate?

Once you become deeply acquainted and intimate with God — once you begin a relationship with Him and saturate yourself in His Word — once you seek Him and actually find Him — you will fall powerfully in love with Him. He is impossible not to love, once you taste His own love for you. He is so loveable in every way, even in His passionate jealous anger. He’s irresistible to the soul that was made for His pleasure.

But you won’t know this until He supernaturally fills you with his Holy Spirit, which for to happen, you must open up your heart to Him. You must turn to Him, and ask him to forgive you and be your life. Your God. Your Saviour.

When it truly happens, you’re in for more than you can ever fathom. He fills you with His passionate love and you’re consumed by Him.

Thus begins the greatest romance a human being could ever experience.

If you grew up never tasting rich, good quality, velvety chocolate, you would never have an appetite or craving for it. Never tasting it, you don’t realize what you’re missing. The same is for God Himself. He’s the most rich, decadent, luxurious, satisfying thing that anybody could ever experience. But you won’t know realize what you’re missing until you first taste His incredible love.

But once you do, game over. You’re His. You’re done with everything else and you are His.

{Psalm 63:1-8}
O GOD, You are my God;
With deepest longings I will seek You;
My soul thirsts for You,
My flesh longs and sighs for You,
In a dry and weary land where there is no water.
So I have gazed upon You in the sanctuary,
To see Your power and Your glory.
Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips shall praise You.
So I will bless You as long as I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name.
My soul is satisfied as with marrow and fatness,
And my mouth offers praises to You with joyful lips.
When I remember You on my bed, I meditate and thoughtfully focus on You in the night watches,
For You have been my help,
And in the shadow of Your wings I sing for joy.
My soul clings to You;
Your right hand upholds me.
